Moving Forward

We all have two options when it comes to our current situation. We can either move forward, or stay frozen in the past. Unfortunately, for sufferers of PTSD, they are stuck in the past and find it increasingly difficult to get moving forward again. More importantly, in order to move forward, we need to recognise and deal with situations that occurred in the past. Only then can we find solace in direction and move forward with the healing process.

It is also vital to remember that healing can and does take time. The amount of time it takes varies from person to person, so it should never be rushed.
